The Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership have been busy promoting the Crouch Valley Community Rail this summer by making guest appearances in North Fambridge and Southminster to promote rail services in the area.

On Saturday 20 July Lynda Stone from the Community Rail Partnership ran a promotional stall at the popular Southminster Flower Show and again on Sunday 4 August at the annual Essex Wildlife Trust Blue House Farm, Open Day, to raise awareness of local rail services and to encourage people to get out and about exploring the region by train.

Martin Sills Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Services Manager said:
“We’re really grateful for the hard work the Essex and South Suffolk Community Rail Partnership are doing to encourage the local community to explore the region by rail, The Southminster line has some important destinations which are very accessible by rail”

North Fambridge and Southminster are part of the Crouch Valley Line, with runs through South Essex from Wickford to Southminster.
