Tottenham Hale rail station’s new toilet facilities scored top marks in a recent mystery shopper survey carried out at the station.

Train operator, Greater Anglia, recently carried out improvement works at the station, funded by the National Stations Improvement Programme, to install brand new customer toilets.

The station also received a 'deep clean' to refresh the station, fix minor repairs and remove gum and grafitti. Brand new signage and attractive new flower tubs have also been installed to bring the station up to standard.

As a result, passengers are enjoying a brighter, cleaner and more welcoming station environment and the toilet facilities were given an excellent score of 98% when surveyed by a mystery shopper in August.

Alan Neville, Area Customer Services Manager, said, “I am delighted that the new facilities have achieved such a good score. Myself and my team work very hard to maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the station environment and this score is a reflection of the hard work that has gone into making the station welcoming and pleasant for our passengers.”
