Rail passengers at Greater Anglia stations had a spring in their step this morning as staff handed out free treats to commuters during the morning rush hour.

The Easter giveaway, which took place from 0700 this morning, saw hundreds of rail customers receive free sweet treats and chocolate eggs.

Stations taking part included Norwich, Ipswich, Colchester, Chelmsford, Shenfield, all stations on the Southend line, Audley End, Cambridge, Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow and Tottenham Hale.

Keely Pagdin, Head of Customer Service - West, said: “We wanted to show our regular commuters our appreciation and wish them a Happy Easter. It was great fun to brighten people’s commutes to work as they passed through the station.”
