Trains will be able to call at the eastbound platform at Brandon again from Sunday 2 April.
This means that all trains scheduled to stop at the station will now be calling there again from the start of service on Sunday morning.
The eastbound platform had been closed since 1 March after a safety inspection assessed the disused, old station building as potentially at risk of collapse. A bus replacement service was then put in place while the platform was closed.
Works to enable safe public access to the platform have now been completed and customers can use the eastbound platform and the station footbridge from Sunday 2 April onwards.
