To coincide with the end of Elton John’s forthcoming Ipswich concert, Greater Anglia will run two extra trains to take concert-goers home.

Elton John fans are encouraged to check before they travel on Greater Anglia’s trains ahead of the event at Ipswich Football Club's Portman Road Stadium on Saturday 17 June and are advised that an extra train will run from Ipswich to Norwich at 23.15 and from Ipswich to London Liverpool Street at 23.18.

James Reeve, Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, said: “We know that Elton John’s concert is going to be hugely popular, so we wanted to make sure that fans could get home safely afterwards. I’m very happy that we’ve been able to put on two extra trains to coincide with the end of the concert. We will be using all of our available trains and carriages, but we are still expecting trains to be very busy on the night.”
