Money saving tips and behind the scenes interviews in new Greater Anglia podcast episode

An interview with an East Anglia art gallery director, a host of ways to save money while travelling this year and new trains feature in the latest episode of Greater Anglia’s Life on Rails podcast.

Episode 9 of the podcast series which reveals behind the scenes facts about Greater Anglia releases on Wednesday 25 January on all podcast platforms.

The special guest in this episode’s “travel surgery” slot is Sally Shaw, Director of the Firstsite art gallery in Colchester.

Life on Rails co-hosts Juliette Maxam and Lucy Wright, from Greater Anglia’s media and PR team, talk to Sally about her career and the importance of harnessing creativity, before recommending a rail journey on the network.

Other slots in the magazine-style podcast include an interview with Greater Anglia’s Engineering Director Martin Beable who explains how the new trains have helped boost performance, while Georgia Payne, the operator’s Safeguarding and Trespass Prevention Lead, discusses partnership work with Samaritans and how small talk can save lives.

Greater Anglia’s Head of Revenue Matthew Chivers explains why fares change and resident Fares Guru Ken Strong returns with a wealth of money saving tips to help customers during 2023.

Juliette and Lucy also discuss the different ways people can travel to and from the station and how Greater Anglia is helping people reduce their carbon footprint.
